Bikeoff at the Design Against Crime Research Centre are aiming to work with bicycle stand manufacturers to develop prototypes designed by shortlisted student and open competition entrants, due for testing in the London Borough of Southwark in 2007, and looking ahead to an influx of cyclists into London for the Tour de France UK leg in 2007 and the Olympics in 2012.
